The Hess philosophy
The Hess restaurant was launched with the inspiration of Abraham the Patriarch, who would host passers-by in his house. Hess maintains the dual traditions of hospitality and Eastern European Jewish cooking. Marcel Hess is the restaurant's chef, and he combines the fine tradition of Jewish cuisine with exquisite gourmet flavors and premium meat.
Hess restaurant is now under new ownership - Doron Hess and Daliah Wolf-Hess. Daliah and Doron are members of the seventh generation of the Hess family, and both have substantial experience in the restaurateur business. Hess has been an international meat-restaurant for seven generations, both in Israel and abroad.
The new-format Hess is now Badatz Rabbanut Yerushalayim Mehadrin. On our new menu, you’ll find a selection of premium deli sandwiches, featuring chopped veal, pastrami, corned beef, liver, roast beef, hickory smoked sausages … and more. |
